You've Been Giving Everybody the Shortest True Answer.

Why do I feel lonely even when I'm around people? It's one of the most disorienting things a person can carry — because from the outside, it looks solved. You have a job, a family, a church, a phone full of names. And still nobody knows what's actually happening in you. Most of us add a second weight on top of it: the verdict that we should be better at this by now. And for Christians there's a worse version — if I were closer to God, I wouldn't need this. This video takes that apart, starting somewhere most teaching on loneliness never goes: Genesis 2, where the first thing God ever calls "not good" is said in a world with no sin in it, about a man standing in the garden God walks in, with nothing between him and that — and who never once complained. God said it. Not the man. Then we go to a hillside at night, in Mark 14 — a hillside that was not empty, because Passover had filled Jerusalem past its walls and pilgrims were camped all over that slope. Jesus was a stone's throw from hundreds of people. And He told His three closest friends that He wasn't okay and asked them to stay with Him — and didn't get it. Three times. What He says about them afterward is the most merciful line in the chapter. ⚠️ And one thing we say plainly: this is not about being by yourself. Jesus went off alone to pray constantly — He chose it, and it fed Him. One of them you walk into on purpose. The other one walks into you.
