When life breaks you, God doesn't pull back. Psalm 34:18 reveals something most people miss — He draws closest to the broken. There is a version of broken that doesn't look broken from the outside. The bills are paid. The smile is still there. But something inside stopped responding — and you don't know how to explain it. In this video, we go to Psalm 34:18 — and unpack what the Hebrew word 'qarov' (close) really means when God says He is near to the brokenhearted. Spoiler: it's not passive presence. It's active proximity. And 'dakka' (crushed) — He saves the person in that state, not after they recover from it. We also look at Isaiah 43:2 — God's promise is not removal of the difficulty.
